Industry Overview
The modern warehouse is a high-speed throughput machine. Pulux constructs Grade-A logistics parks and distribution centers that optimize cubic space utilization (Volume) and minimize turnaround time (Velocity).
The Floor is The Asset
In a 12m high warehouse, the floor is the most critical component. A bumpy floor slows down forklifts, damage goods, and causes hazardous swaying of high-reach trucks.
- Technique: Laser Screed
- Tolerance: FM2 / DM1
- Super Flat (SF) Specs: For Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) racking systems.
- Jointless Design: Large area pours (up to 2000 m²) without construction joints.
Structural Elements
- Docking Infrastructure: Recessed loading docks with hydraulic levelers, dock shelters, and bumpers. Designed for efficient cross-docking operations with 45° or 90° aprons.
- Wide Grid Spacing: Minimizing internal columns (e.g., 24m x 12m grids) to maximize racking layout options and forklift maneuverability.
- Fire Suppression: Design integration for in-rack sprinkler systems, ESFR sprinklers, and beam detectors for smoke sensing in high volumes.
Operational Efficiency
We model vehicle movement patterns to design external concrete pavements that resist rutting from turning trucks.
Sustainable Warehousing
Sky Lighting (4-6%), Roof Solar Ready, Rainwater Harvesting, LED Motion Sensors.
